Adele, Simon Konecki Reach Divorce Settlement

Nearly two years after filing for divorce, Adele has reached an agreement with her estranged husband, Simon Konecki, on a final settlement.

The 32-year-old “Hello” hitmaker and the 46-year-old charity entrepreneur began dating in 2011.

Adele then confirmed her marriage to Konecki during her acceptance speech at the 59th Grammy Awards in 2017. Together, they share an eight-year-old son, Angelo.

In April 2019, the British songstress separated from Konecki. Five months later, she filed for divorce from him at the Los Angeles Superior Court in California, citing irreconcilable differences and requesting joint custody of their son.

Now, according to recently acquired court papers, the former couple finally came to terms on their settlement last Friday, 15 January. Details surrounding the settlement – including spousal support and property ownership – are unclear at this point.

However, for their divorce to be officially dissolved, a judge presiding over their case must sign off on their agreement, which needs to occur within the next six months.

Neither Adele nor Konecki have publicly commented on the settlement yet.
